Today's Song Of The Day is Tin Pan Alley by Robert Plant and the Strange Sensation off their fantastic sophomore album Mighty Rearranger.
The song follows a formula that WP tells me was made famous by Led Zeppelin - the structure of the rock ballad - relaxed and tender verses followed by an explosive chorus. Very melodious stuff with a groovy bass-line. An excellent album throughout.
