A slight more elaborate yet typical Statham flick. Quite enjoyable as an excuse for shovelling pop corn into mouths. Even Jennifer Lopez's character (and her acting) was a good addition to the mix and the plot tiptoes its way around some of the more clichéd elements that keeps things interesting.

Some good bits. Some not so. Entertaining, typically Tarantino dialogue, and an excellent performance by Christoph Waltz make this good viewing. However, it doesn't really live up to expectations.

Too many plot holes and the bad guys are simply not good enough. Some scenes are enjoyable though.

Passable entertainment. The first part was better.

Mel Gibson is an unnamed driver driving a getaway car full of money and a dying (and soon dead) accomplice being chased by the police very near the Mexican border. Rather than being caught on US soil, he intentionally crashes through a border fence into Mexico. The cops on the other side (who were also following along) while initially happy to hand over the two American nationals back, change their minds upon seeing the money. They decide to keep it for themselves and hush Gibson up by imprisoning him in 'El Pueblito', a notorious prison controlled by criminals.
